Course Categories:

Programm Structure
The course programm is divided in 4 course categories:
  • General Knowledge Courses (Μ.Γ.Υ.)
  • Special Knowledge Courses (Μ.Ε.Υ)
  • Speciality Courses (Μ.Ε.)
  • Courses of Business Administration,Jurally and Humanistic Studies(Δ.Ο.Ν.Α.)
There was a change in the study programm in the last years and according to the new study programm there are two fields to choose between them, Informatics field and Networks and Telecommunications field. The choice of the field is being decided by each student in the last 3 semester of studies( 5, 6, 7). The chosen field will be recorded on the degree.
Each course is caracterized as Obligatory(O), or Optional Obligatory(OPO), or optional(OP).The student has to pass all the Obligatory courses and the minimum number of optional obligatory courses,following the restrictions given below. The courses of each category with the type of course are given in the following tables:

3. Speciality Courses:
The speciality courses (ΜΕ) are divided in two fields of study (Informatics and
Networks and Telecommunications) with some common courses for both fields. The students
choose their courses based on the the field they choose in the 5th semester
of studies. The field the students choose is being recorded in the grades list.
