techniques (hash tables, β-trees). Data security and overflow management. |
Module Aims-Objectives: |
Focus is placed in techniques used for the development and management of files.
Introductory topics in databases are also presented as a preparation for modules like
"Databases" and "Data Structures".
The aim is to help students comprehend file management principles, learn data management
techniques and be in a position to elaborate on large and complex software programs. |
