Telecommunication Systems ΙΙ
Module Type: Telecommunications and Networks Track
Module Code: 642Τ
Syllabus: Analogue signal digitisation, Nyquist sampling theorem, pulse code modulation (PCM), delta modulation, inter symbol interference,ASK, FSK, PSK. Channel capacity and coding.Multiple access digital modulation techniques
Module Aims-Objectives: To introduce techniques of digital signal transmission and principles of public telephony systems.
Upon completing this module students should be able to interpret issues concerning digital signal transmission.
