Wireless Communications
Module Type: Telecommunications and Networks Track
Module Code: 644Τ
Syllabus: Spatial signal propagation, propagation problems, wireless telecommunication systems, radio links, microwave communications, LMDS, satellite communications, TV (analogue and digital), video signals, coding/ decoding, satellite TV.
Module Aims-Objectives Demonstrate to students the principles governing the operation of wireless telecommunication systems.
Upon completing this module students should be able to appreciate issues concerning wireless data propagation and the techniques employed for implementing wireless communications.
