Module Aims-Objectives: |
To familiarise students with the basic teaching techniques in the field of Information Technology so as to be
able to successfully instruct on the subject. Also to introduce the basic design principles for the development
of educational software and of educational applications based on Internet technology.
Upon completing this module students should be able to:
1. Know the preamble models of Information Technology in the educational system of Greece and abroad with emphasis
in secondary education (programme of studies, school manuals, school laboratories, etc.).
2. Tutor in fundamental concepts and topics of information technology making use of apodictic
teaching methods based on the module’s didactics and relative researches.
3. Design educational software and commensurate Web sites using the appropriate authoring tools.
4. Be aware of the up-to-date information technology tools employed for educational reasons via the Internet
(courseware management tools, videoconferencing applications, CSCW applications, etc.).
