Syllabus: |
Random variables (discrete and continuous), Probability distributions,
distribution parameters, and various distributions: Binomial, Normal, Poisson,
Bernoulli, Gamma, Exponential, etc. Basic concepts of Statistics, Estimation theory,
Space of reliance, combinatorial analysis, random variable functions. |
Module Aims-Objectives: |
Introduce students to basic elements and concepts of probability theory and stochastic models.
