Transfers

The student transfers of internal are allowed under the applicable provisions (Article 1 of N.3282/2004, GG 208-A as amended by subsequent provisions until today), as follows:

Without quantitative restrictions (Chapter A)

Members of families with many children

Members of large families

Children of victims of terrorism

Orphans from one or both parents

Distinguished in the field of sports

Seriously ill

With quantitative restriction (Chapter B)

10% of the number of students enrolling for financial reasons.

1% for health reasons of parents.

The transfers are made by the General Assembly of the host department. While the conditions that are imposed by the legislation on transfer stand, right of transfer exists only for the Department relevant with the Department of origin.

According to Gov. 998/26-7-2006 and 1507/23-7-2009, relevant sections with the Department of Computer Science and Telecommunications are the following:

"The request for transfer is submitted by the interested student electronically in early October, after enrollment in the department of origin, in specially developed for transfers information system, and then in the receiving department with the originals of all required documentation as appropriate."
